About me

I'm a Senior UX Designer at cinch, shaping how people search for and buy cars online.
I work across search and buying journeys, framing problems with product and engineering before designing the answer. I care about decisions that rest on evidence, interfaces that make complex choices feel clear, and work that ships and gets measured. Outside work, I'm a dad first. Home is Essex with my wife, our two boys, and a whippet who can hit 35mph but would much rather spend the day on the sofa.
How I work
I start with the problem, not the screen. I bring data, research and a clear point of view into planning early, and I'm comfortable challenging a brief when the evidence points somewhere else.
I've always enjoyed adapting how I work as the tools change, and AI is the most exciting shift yet. I use Claude to research, analyse data and build coded, logic-driven prototypes in hours rather than days, so teams can try ideas rather than imagine them. The tools keep changing; the judgement stays mine.
Raising the bar
I care about the quality of the whole team's work, not just my own. I host regular design crits, and I created and champion our design system, so designers and engineers build from one shared source of truth.
Next, I want to shape design direction at a wider level: working with product leadership on what we build and why, bringing evidence into those decisions early, and helping other designers do their best work.
